Madam Yap is a widow with 3 children (unfortunately, one of them passed away). Her youngest son, Hong Fatt was born with down syndrome, and her other son does odd jobs and doesn’t have a stable income. Madam Yap is very adamant to take care of Hong Fatt on her own, and for him not to be registered into a shelter home.
